Hook-and-Loop Installation

Use this guide for standard magnetic, pet-proof, privacy, winter, and custom-fit door curtains.

Install in Three Steps

Measure the Mounting Area

Measure the outer width and height where the fastening tape will attach. Check that the frame is clean, dry, and level.

Position Before Pressing

Align the top edge and magnetic seam first. Confirm the panel hangs straight and clears the floor.

Press, Secure, and Test

Press the hook-and-loop tape firmly around the frame. Use reinforcement tacks only on compatible wooden surfaces, then test the magnetic closure.

Install the Hook-and-Loop System

1. Clean the frame. Remove dust, moisture, and grease from the mounting surface.

2. Test the position. Center the screen and check that both panels meet evenly.

3. Attach the tape. Peel and press the fastening tape firmly along the top and sides.

4. Reinforce when suitable. Use the included tacks only on compatible wooden frames and keep them away from wiring or hidden hardware.

Measure the Full Mounting Area

Measure where the fastening tape will sit rather than measuring only the moving door slab. Check the top, middle, and bottom widths, then check the left, center, and right heights. Use the smallest consistent measurement and compare it with the product size guide.

For French or double doors, treat the full doorway as one opening and confirm the magnetic seam aligns with the intended pass-through position.
