Sliding-Track Installation

Use this guide for the Sliding Track Garage Screen Door and other wide-opening track systems.

Install the Track System in Three Stages

Measure the Clear Opening

Confirm the opening width, height, and available structural space for the upper track and side components.

Lay Out the Track

Identify every track and fastening component before installation, then mark a level upper-track position.

Install and Test Movement

Secure the track with the supplied hardware, hang the screen, and confirm it glides and stores without contacting garage-door equipment.

Install a Straight, Level Upper Track

Check for garage-door hardware, sensors, weather stripping, and enough level mounting space before installation. Lay out the supplied track parts, confirm their order, and mark the upper-track line before fixing any component.

The track system uses its dedicated hardware rather than perimeter hook-and-loop tape. Follow the included component sequence and confirm the screen hangs evenly before tightening the final fasteners.

Check Glide, Closure, and Side Storage

After hanging the screen, slide it across the full opening and confirm the panels move without binding. Check that the center closure aligns and that the screen can gather neatly at the side.

Operate the garage door once while observing the screen from a safe position. Stop immediately if any screen, track, sensor, cable, or weather-seal component interferes with the garage-door mechanism.
